Pregnancy safety notice
Every pregnancy is different. Please consult your doctor, midwife or other qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any exercise during pregnancy, and follow their advice. Some conditions may need particular movements to be modified or avoided altogether.
Before your first class, please tell your instructor how far along you are and about any pregnancy considerations or guidance you’ve received. During class, stop and rest if anything feels uncomfortable, and seek medical help if you notice symptoms such as pain, bleeding, dizziness or shortness of breath.
Our prenatal classes support general pregnancy wellness. They do not prevent complications, guarantee any birth outcome, or replace medical care.
Introduction
An Introduction to Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal yoga is a gentle practice adapted for pregnancy. It brings together comfortable movement, breath awareness and relaxation, with postures chosen and modified to respect a changing body.
Classes are an opportunity to set aside time for yourself, notice how you feel, and practise ways of resting and breathing that you may find helpful in everyday life.
Every pregnancy is unique. You are always encouraged to rest, skip a posture, or choose an alternative — listening to your body comes first.

We can’t promise any particular outcome. Prenatal yoga is offered to support general pregnancy wellness, relaxation and body awareness — it is not a medical treatment and does not prevent complications or guarantee an easier birth.
How far along you are, any pregnancy-related considerations, and any guidance from your healthcare professional. Please share this directly with your instructor rather than in the online form.
Stop, rest in a comfortable position and have water nearby. If you experience symptoms such as pain, bleeding, dizziness, shortness of breath, contractions or reduced baby movements, stop exercising and contact your healthcare professional or emergency services straight away.
