The practice
What is Yoga for Beginners?
Yoga for Beginners is a gentle introduction to yoga for people who have never practised before, or who are returning after a long break. Each session covers the basics: how to stand, sit and move safely, how to link movement with breath, and how to rest.
Your instructor explains every posture clearly, shows simpler and more supported variations, and builds the practice gradually from week to week. There is no need to be flexible or fit to begin — those qualities develop with practice.
The aim is to help you feel comfortable on your mat, understand the foundations, and leave each class feeling more relaxed and confident.

Learn the foundations
Your instructor guides you through a small set of postures, explaining alignment and offering variations as you go.
Relax & reflect
The session ends with a guided relaxation, so you finish feeling calm and refreshed.
Sessions run live on our online meeting platform. Joining details are shared only after your booking is confirmed. Having your camera on is optional — it can help the instructor offer cues, but you choose what feels comfortable.
